It’s that wonderful time of year again where the laughter and joy of friends and family fill the air, holiday decorations are unpacked and displayed, and some of the best holiday dishes are served for everyone to enjoy.

In the spirit of friends and holiday cheer, Sunrise Homes hosted our first “Friendsgiving” event in our Magnolia Ridge community located in beautiful Pearl River, Louisiana. Meeting new neighbors to help connect homes with a name was our hope for this event, but what we experience was far beyond our expectation. We witnessed neighbors become friends and strangers become neighbors. Sunrise Homes provided the food and the location for this event; however, it was the spark that the Magnolia Ridge Community brought that made this event a true “Friendsgiving”. Irresistible turkey, corn-n-crab bisque, sweet potato casserole and shrimp n mirliton dressing were served alongside an abundance of holiday desserts enjoyed by everyone. For those of you planning to attend next year, we would recommend bringing an appetite and stretchy clothing! There was plenty of food to go around and the dishes chosen by our New Home Specialist, Lindsay were delicious.

 We love building lasting friendships and growing connected communities. This “Friendsgiving” event was the first of many to come for the Magnolia Ridge Community. We are very excited to watch this community grow and witness the friendships that will come out of it. Beautiful homes in charming towns are nothing without a supportive and loving community to back it up. We want to wish each of our homeowners a Happy Thanksgiving. We are thankful to you for making Magnolia Ridge the wonderful place it is today.
