We love introducing you to the people that make the Sunrise Homes team amazing! Meet Chris Storms, one of our incredible construction superintendents who helps us bring Sunrise homes to life. Get to know Chris by taking a look at what he had to say about how he found his way to our team and what he loves best about working with Sunrise Homes!

Chris is responsible for organizing, planning, and overseeing our home projects, as well as managing our on-site construction team. A typical day for Chris includes reviewing daily schedules and visiting home sites to ensure each build progresses smoothly and stays on schedule. He also oversees all purchase orders for building materials to guarantee our team has everything we need to get the job done!  

Chris wasn’t always in the homebuilding industry. He graduated with a degree in biology, but he decided to change paths and began working for a local custom home builder. Eventually, he joined the Sunrise team, and we think we’re lucky to have snagged him!

Although current market conditions have put a strain on the build process, Chris is always confident there’s nothing we can’t handle! Chris loves carpentry, and he loves seeing the finished new homes. The most rewarding part of his job is completing homes and handing off the keys to the happy homeowners.

His favorite thing about his role is being able to work with a team dedicated to providing the best product at the best value in a highly competitive market. Each day offers a new challenge that Chris looks forward to - there’s never a dull moment in new home construction! 

In his free time, Chris enjoys the ultimate Louisiana lifestyle. What are his favorite things? WHO DAT and Geaux Tigers! For non-locals, that means Chris is a big New Orleans Saints and LSU football fan. Chris also enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
