About the Keys for Service Program

Who qualifies?

• Firefighters—from the St. Tammany Fire Department to the Jefferson Parish Fire Department.
• Licensed paramedics
• Public safety telecommunicators 
• Teachers of a city, parish, state or private school board—including St. Tammany Parish Public Schools and Jefferson Parish Schools.
  • Must hold a Louisiana teacher's certification.
• Employees of hospitals, offices of physicians, pharmacies, drug stores, outpatient care centers, nursing care facilities, assisted living centers, chiropractic clinics or dental offices—including St. Tammany Parish Hospital, Ochsner Medical Center, Slidell Memorial Hospital and more.
